CURRICULUM

Carolina Gonzalez Iwanow nace el 28 de noviembre de 1971 en una familia con mucho amor y libertad de expresión. Rodeada de musica y felicidad crece libre pero contenidamente. En el año 1988 inicia la exploración por mundo de las artes, técnicas, oficios y materiales, por esta razón realiza infinidad y variados trabajos. Sus principios son como asistente de vestuario para diversas agencias de publicidad y cortometrajes.

En el año 1990 comienza a estudiar Diseño de Indumentaria en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Realiza vestuarios, escenografias y maquillaje artistico para teatro, desfiles, teatro callejero, circo, raves, eventos temáticos, ambientaciones, vidrieras, decoraciones, plástica, pintura textil y en seda, telar, reciclado de cuero, body painting, vestidos de fiesta únicos pintados a mano, y también música. A lo largo de 1990 toma un curso de la mano del maestro orfebre Jorge Castañón, luego decide armarse su propio atellier y experimentar intensamente en el mismo, en 1996 decide investigar el mundo del cincelado y lo hace junto al maestro orfebre Jorge Pablo Pallarols.

Paralelamente desde el año 1995 comienza a hacer Exposiciones de Joyeria Contemporanea en Galerias de Arte y Centros de Culturales en variadas ciudades. Diseña, desarrolla y realiza producciones en distintos materiales y metales avios, bijoux, zapatos, carteras, pinturas, objetos y también Música. Ofrece un servicio de diseño y detalle, free lance para distintas empresas diseñando y realizando, productos exclusivos para cada una. Comienza a dictar cursos de Joyeria contemporanea en el año 1997 en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, hoy lo hace en su atellier. Carolina Gonzalez Iwanow continua su búsqueda infinita, no sólo en la joyeria, sino también en la música y en la vida.

Carolina Gonzalez Iwanow was born in 1971 to a very endearing and open minded family. She grows freely but contained in a world of music and creativity In 1988 she beguins to explore the arts ,crafts and different technics of most materials leading her to work and beeing involved in a wide range of jobs and projects from publicity agencies to shortfilms costume design, etc..

In 1990 she attends college to study textile/apparel design in the university of buenos aires.... after wich she then beguins to work from the making of scennery,make up art for theater and body painting, costume for fashion shows, circus and music raves, thematic events, display and exhibit setups, unique textile paintings, weavings, leather design ,recycled art, body paintings, music to infiniteless forms of art... It was 1990 when she came across jewelry by the hand of Jorge Castañon and in 1996 she begun to study the ancient technique of cheseling by the hand of a jewelry master Jorge Pablo Pallarols.

Parallel to all these she starts to appear in several contemporary jewelry exhibitions, galleries and cultural events thru many different cities. Totally falling into designing and developing productions in all sorts of materials involving metal, from the bijoux to the shoe and leather industry offering detailed design service,both freelancing and exclusively delivering unique products. In 1997 she start teaching Contemporary Jewelry courses at the University of Bs As´s Architectural Department to currently doing it at her own studio untill now. Carolina continues her infinite search not only in the jewelry world but also in music and all aspects of life.
